Piper T. Grandjean Targos
President & Principle Investigator

Piper is a doctoral student in Evaluation & Applied Research Methods at Claremont Graduate University. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming and her master’s degree from CGU in Psychology, with an emphasis on research methods and data analysis. She has worked as both an internal and external evaluator, helping non-profits achieve their social outcomes. Piper enjoys using a complex-system approach to understanding social problems, promoting equity and inclusion in community change initiatives. When she isn’t working with organizations to build their capacity to engage in effective evaluations, she loves spending time outdoors with her husband and dogs. 

Leah Nichols
Researcher & Project Manager

Leah Nichols is a dedicated and utilization-focused Evaluation Contractor with two years of experience in Evaluation and four years of experience in social science research. She holds a master’s degree in Applied Social Psychology from Claremont Graduate University where she developed a strong foundation in evaluation methodologies and data analysis. Leah’s expertise lies in collecting and analyzing data and producing comprehensive reports that communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Throughout her career, Leah has worked with a variety of public organizations assessing the impact of initiatives related to education and healthcare. With a deep understanding of evaluation methodologies, she is committed to promoting theory-driven and evidenced-based insights for programs, policy, and services. 

Angela Jauregui
Researcher & Data Analyst

Angela is a culturally responsive, equity-focused evaluation consultant. She received her bachelor’s degree from Smith College and a master’s degree from Claremont Graduate University in Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Behavior and Evaluation. She is passionate about leveraging data to help organizations meet their evaluation goals. In her free time she loves to travel, study new languages, and spoil her niece and nephews.

Jennifer Villalobos
Evaluator & Organizational Psychologist

Jennifer is an evaluator, scholar, researcher, and doctoral candidate in Evaluation and Positive Organizational Psychology at Claremont Graduate University. Jennifer has over 20 years of experience working in research, evaluation, and organizational development. Jennifer has worked with 30+ local, national, and international foundations, companies, and programs spanning multiple industries, with emphases on workplace well-being, social justice, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), leadership, and Evaluation Capacity Building (ECB). Jennifer’s primary research interests are positive organizational interventions, transformative and social justice-oriented approaches to evaluation, and organizational development initiatives that focus on DEI. She believes that prioritizing capacity building through a social justice lens is critical in creating social betterment within organizations and communities.
